Recovery After Loss Program
A program for mothers who have suffered tragic pregnancy or infant loss. This program will gently guide mothers along the physical and emotional journey of recovery while navigating life after loss.
Your heart is safe here.
This is trigger free twenty four week exercise program that will allow women a safe and completely trigger-free environment to learn how to heal their bodies after pregnancy or infant loss. Within the program, women will learn how to control incontinence or pain that is common after pregnancy, birth or loss. Other topics covered include diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, basic anatomy, and how to functionally move to heal physically.
The program features a culturally diverse panel of experts in both physical and mental health.
This program has been written from day one after loss.
Weeks 1-3 are focused just on being present with our bodies, learning how to absorb the shock of such a devastating loss, learning about pelvic floor health, and understanding how functional movement can heal the body.
Within these three weeks, there is also a plethora of expert videos from pelvic health physical therapists, doulas, mental health professionals, and physical therapists to add expert insight into the emotional and physical healing through traumatic loss.
In weeks 4-6, intentional movement will begin. Gentle and intentional movement is very healing for the body. Within the program, there are multiple reminders to check in with your health care providers and what exactly to be aware of for those appointments. In week 6, you will likely be cleared to meet with a pelvic floor physical therapist, which I highly encourage after loss.
Weeks 7 and on focus on strength and return to life— each week builds on the previous week. We will reintroduce things like traditional sit-ups, jumping, or running and you will see an expert in her field to teach and share valuable insight on each topic, along with an additional workout for you as an added bonus!
You will expect to see experts within the workouts on:
Traditional core work and diastasis recti with Inemesit Graham
Jumping with Rhonda Chamberlain
Running with Carrie Pagliano
Explosive Movements with Jamie Straker
When you’re recovering from loss, you need someone who can understand.
You are not alone. Loss is a part of my story too.
After the loss of my daughter, I knew that I needed to help other women recover after tragic and traumatic pregnancy and infant loss so they can heal both mentally and physically in an environment that is safe and secure with someone who understands.
This trigger-free twenty-four-week exercise program will allow you a safe environment to learn how to heal your body after pregnancy or infant loss.

The truth is that stillbirth, emergency cesarean section, placental abruptions, and instrumental birth are all especially traumatic to the pelvic floor and body of the woman experiencing these occurrences and all of which are incredibly common in a woman who has experienced loss.
Pregnancy and infant loss and traumatic delivery can and do affect a woman’s overall well-being and psyche. This program is the solution for physical and mental healing.

Absolutely! While the program is written from week one after a loss you will still follow the same timeline. In the beginning weeks of the program, there is a lot of information about your physical anatomy, myth-busting about pelvic floor dysfunction, relearning how to breathe, and focused attention to help process different pieces of your loss and reconnect with your body.
